Under 25s (women) and the Amy Rose Bowl Competition...

  The Leicestershire Under 25 group of players are managed separately in order to bring them together in competitive bowling. Claire Wade of New Lount BC is the U24's Team Manager.

Each year this group plays a number of qualifying competitive matches at the Regional Finals and then if successful, go on to play in the Amy Rose Bowl National Competition at Leamington Spa, during the National Finals fortnight.  See details below.

Amy Rose 2025

The Amy Rose Regional Finals are to be played at Nuneaton Bowls Club on Saturday 31st May 2025.

Singles - 4 bowls, 2 sets, 7 ends
Pairs     - 3 bowls, 2 sets, 6 ends
Triples - 2 bowls, 2 sets, 6 ends
Fours - 2 bowls, 2 sets, 5 ends

Time limited to 1 hr 15 mins including trial ends. Played Pairs and Triples first then Singles and Fours, Group Winners to qualify.

•    The quarter final, semi-final and final will be played on Saturday 17th August 2025 at Victoria Park, Royal Leamington Spa, Warks.

What is the Amy Rose Squad?

It is the Junior County Team and we play friendlies against other counties/clubs and in the National Inter County competition at Leamington in August/September.

Can I be part of it?

If you are a young lady bowler and 31 or under on 01/04/2019 then you can be part of the Amy Rose Squad.

What can I get from it?

You can get a lots from it...
...Playing bowls with people of a similar age and make new friends
...Coaching and help with your game
...Be part of the future of Bowls within Leicestershire.

But I have only been playing for a short time!

Don’t be afraid we have people from a wide range of abilities.

I won't be good enough!
