Under 31s (women) and the Amy Rose Bowl Competition...

The Leicestershire Under 31 group of players are managed separately in order to bring them together in competitive bowling. Martin Shipley of Hinckley BC is the U31 Manager.

Each year this group plays a few competitive matches and then play in the Amy Rose Bowl National Competition at Leamington Spa, during the National Finals fortnight.  See details below.

Amy Rose 2019

The Amy Rose Bowl will be played in its entirety on Saturday 31st AUGUST & Sunday 1st September 2019 at Victoria Park, Royal Leamington Spa and matches will be played over 15 ends.  The first and second rounds will be played on Saturday , with the Quarter Final, Semi Final and Final taking place on Sunday.  The draw will not be available until later this year (approx May).

What is the Amy Rose Squad?

It is the Junior County Team and we play friendlies against other counties/clubs and in the National Inter County competition at Leamington in August/September.

Can I be part of it?

If you are a young lady bowler and 31 or under on 01/04/2019 then you can be part of the Amy Rose Squad.

What can I get from it?

You can get a lots from it...
...Playing bowls with people of a similar age and make new friends
...Coaching and help with your game
...Be part of the future of Bowls within Leicestershire.

But I have only been playing for a short time!

Don’t be afraid we have people from a wide range of abilities.

I won't be good enough!

We will make you feel most welcome and you can learn with us. You are probably better than you think you are.
